For brokers with transport & logistics clients
Your clients’ programmes reach beyond the fleet.
Vehicles, cargo, equipment and premises can all feature in a transport client’s insurance programme. Bring the eligible premiums into a funding conversation with Clearmatch, with specialist support for the repayment options you discuss with your client.
Funding is subject to eligibility, credit assessment, approval, available funding and agreement terms. Interest and fees apply.
Keep the details connected
See the programme behind the individual invoices.
A client’s fleet renewal is one part of the picture. Other policies may protect goods, warehouses, equipment or the wider operation.
Cover advice stays with the client’s authorised insurance adviser. For the funding discussion, bring the policy schedule together: what is being insured, which entity pays the premium and when each policy starts and ends.
Clearmatch has experience funding businesses in transport and logistics. Our team works with you to assess clients’ eligible premiums across a programme and consider whether one arrangement or separate loans are appropriate to the dates and circumstances.
A practical funding conversation
Bring operating needs into the funding discussion.
Renewal and operating commitments
Help clients consider loan repayments alongside fuel, wages, maintenance and other regular costs. An agreed schedule helps define the commitment; the client’s business still needs cash to meet it.
Different policies and dates
A client’s fleet, cargo and premises cover may renew at different times. Give our team the complete policy dates so funding can be assessed against the actual programme.
Changes to the fleet or business
Vehicle additions, changed operations or new locations can affect clients’ premiums. Bring any resulting endorsement or refund to Clearmatch and coordinate with the insurance adviser where that is a separate role.
The Clearmatch difference
A specialist to work through the programme with you.
Our specialists look beyond the invoice total to the structure of the funding request.
A client programme involving several policies, entities or inception dates deserves an early conversation. We can work with you to identify the information needed and consider the appropriate loan structure.
A securitised warehouse, Term Note marketplace and limited balance-sheet funding provide different routes for eligible loans. Each route retains our credit discipline and depends on the relevant terms and available funding.
Prepare the client case with these three things.
- 01
Current premium documents
With the client’s permission, provide the insurer, policy type, invoice amount, insured entity, period of cover and payment deadline.
- 02
The business context
Explain the client’s operations, borrowing entity and any changes that affect the insurance programme or funding requirement.
- 03
A full-cost comparison
Help the client compare interest, fees, total repayments and payment dates against paying upfront or other available payment arrangements.
Transport and logistics questions from brokers.
Can Clearmatch fund more than a motor premium?
We can assess other eligible insurance premiums as part of the client’s funding request. Provide the policy details; not every type of cover or programme qualifies automatically.
Can different renewal dates be included?
Our team can consider them, but separate loans may be more appropriate where policy dates or other circumstances differ. The assessment determines the structure and terms.
What about workers’ compensation?
Bring eligible Australian workers’ compensation premiums to our specialist team as part of your client’s funding enquiry, including the scheme’s payment choices and relevant deadlines.
Does funding cover an interruption to operations?
Premium funding pays eligible insurance premiums through a loan. Insurance cover and claims are separate matters for the insurer and insurance adviser; loan repayments remain governed by the funding agreement.
