For finance brokers

Bring insurance premiums into the funding conversation.

Annual insurance premiums belong in your client’s business cash-flow discussion. Clearmatch works with accredited finance brokers to assess eligible premiums, explain the funding terms and support the broker-led process from invoice to settlement.

Funding is subject to eligibility, credit assessment, approval, available funding and agreement terms. Interest and fees apply.

A recurring business need

Make renewal part of the annual review.

When you discuss equipment, working capital or business plans, ask when the client’s insurance renews.

That simple question can bring a sizeable annual payment into the funding plan early. Ask the client about expected premiums, existing payment arrangements and the dates their insurance adviser expects final invoices.

You lead the client’s business-funding conversation, and Clearmatch provides the premium-funding assessment and support. The client’s insurance adviser remains responsible for advice about the cover. Clear roles help protect both adviser relationships.

Working with Clearmatch

From renewal conversation to funded premium.

  1. 01

    Establish the relationship

Speak with our team about accreditation and the referral agreement before submitting applications. We will explain the process and access appropriate to your brokerage.

  2. 02

    Gather the premium details

With the client’s permission, obtain the insurance invoice or statement. Include the insured entity, policy type, invoice number, insurer, inception date, premium amount and payment deadline.

  3. 03

    Submit and review the proposal

Submit the information for assessment. Help the client review interest, fees, total amount payable, repayment dates and conditions in the quote and agreement.

  4. 04

    Complete and coordinate

Once approved and documentation is completed, settlement of the premium is made to the insurance broker or insurer. The borrower then makes the agreed loan repayments.

Practical support

People for the cases that need context.

An invoice starts the process. A conversation adds the business context.

Bring us in early where a client’s programme includes different renewal dates, several policies or a workers’ compensation premium. Our specialists can work with you to identify the information needed and consider the appropriate funding route.

Clearmatch combines a securitised warehouse, a Term Note marketplace and limited balance-sheet funding. Eligible cases can be considered through different pathways under the same credit discipline, subject to available funding.

Questions from finance brokers.

Do I need to arrange the insurance?

No. Your funding discussion can sit alongside the client’s existing insurance adviser relationship. Advice about cover stays with the authorised insurance adviser; Clearmatch supports you with the premium-funding assessment.

Are premium funds paid to the finance broker?

Premium settlement is made to the insurance broker or insurer. A finance broker’s remuneration is separate from the premium settlement and is governed by the relevant arrangement and disclosures.

Can I submit an application immediately?

Our accreditation and referral agreement must be in place first. Contact the team to confirm onboarding, the submission process and the requirements for your market.

What if the client changes a policy?

Coordinate with the insurance adviser and Clearmatch. An endorsement, additional premium, cancellation or refund may affect the funding arrangement and needs to be assessed.
